Texas A&M to host transfer cornerback with starting experience in SEC
Texas A&M will host former Florida cornerback Jalen Kimber on a recruiting visit, according to a report.
That news was first shared by 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, who notes that Kimber is currently committed to Louisville. The talented cornerback began his collegiate career at Georgia.

Kimber has been a consistent player on Florida’s defense over the past 2 seasons. In 2023, he recorded 23 tackles, 5 pass breakups and 1 fumble recovery. This was his 4th year overall in college football.
Listed at 6-foot-5, Kimber made 11 starts for the Gators at cornerback in 2023.
Texas A&M has been aggressive in adding talent via the transfer portal this offseason as Mike Elko prepares for his 1st year as the Aggies’ head coach. Texas A&M has already earned commitments from 9 transfers this cycle.
A&M’s transfer class includes a commitment from former Kansas State cornerback Will Lee III. The Aggies’ transfer class currently sits at No. 20 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
