Shane Johnson, a Snow College JUCO product, walked on at Texas A&M after forgoing a commitment to Kent State, but now he has apparently changed his mind once again.

On Friday, Johnson announced he was leaving the Aggie program, thanking coach Jimbo Fisher.

As you can see in the post below, Johnson explained his decision on Twitter on Friday afternoon:

Johnson said he has received a full release, meaning he’ll be able to transfer and play anywhere this fall.

He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining when he finds his new squad. Johnson was a 2-star JUCO product, per 247Sports, checking in as the No. 12 dual-threat quarterback in the JUCO ranks and the No. 2 overall JUCO product from the state of Texas.
