When you talk about quarterbacks in the college football world, Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence is usually one of the first you mention in terms of being the best.

He certainly earned that reputation last year, leading the Tigers to the national title, but he’ll be going up against another great quarterback in Texas A&M’s Kellen Mond on Saturday afternoon.

On SportsCenter on Saturday morning, former Heisman winner and current SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow explained why he thinks Mond is one of the most underrated players in the country:

“Everyone’s talking about Trevor Lawrence, and they should. He’s a great quarterback. Kellen Mond might be the most underrated quarterback in the entire country. This young man is athletic, he’s poised and he has a great arm. He can make any throw in the game. Whatever you’re asking him to do, this young kid can get it done. Trevor Lawrence is a great quarterback, but we need to give Kellen Mond some love.”

Mond threw for 430 yards and 3 touchdowns against Clemson last year, nearly leading the Aggies to an upset win.
