It appears Texas A&M is poised to add another coach to Jimbo Fisher’s staff in College Station.

According to multiple reports, Wake Forest inside linebackers coach Tyler Santucci will be joining the Texas A&M staff in 2020. Santucci previously worked under Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko at Wake Forest and Notre Dame, in addition to previously serving as a defensive analyst in College Station during Elko’s time running the Aggie defense.

Billy Liucci of TexAgs is reporting that Santucci will be in College Station by Thursday night.

Last season, Bradley Dale Peveto served as Texas A&M’s linebackers coach. It’s unclear at this time what the hire of Santucci would mean for Dale Peveto.

Fisher does have two openings on his Aggies staff following the departures of tight ends coach Joe Jon Finley to Ole Miss and corners coach Maurice Linguist to the NFL.

Tyler Santucci is a native of Pennsylvania and played his college football at Stony Brook.
