WATCH: Christian Kirk gets open on scramble drill, scores long touchdown for Texas A&M
When you’re playing Texas A&M, the one thing you can’t do is let star WR Christian Kirk get behind your secondary.
However, that’s exactly what the Arkansas Razorbacks did in the first quarter of Saturday’s game at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
Texas A&M freshman QB Kellen Mond faced a heavy pass rush in the pocket, scrambled to his right and found a wide-open Kirk for an easy touchdown, as you can see in the video below:

It was exactly the play the Aggies needed, as they didn’t start the game out very well, letting Arkansas gain a 7-0 lead.
However, the Hogs were more than happy to make a big mistake of their own to let the Aggies back in the game.
In a matchup of two coaches who are firmly on the hot seat in Kevin Sumlin and Bret Bielema, the start of Saturday’s game hasn’t exactly been a ringing endorsement for either of them.
