Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M had to hold off a late push by Georgia to hold on to Zach Calzada but in the end, the Peach State native and longtime A&M commit stayed true to his word and signed with the Aggies.

Based on Fisher’s long history of developing, which Aggie fans have already witnessed with the progression of sophomore Kellen Mond, and the fact Georgia loses more five-star signal callers than it has signed under Kirby Smart, it’s hard to argue Calzada didn’t make the correct decision by ultimately deciding to play in College Station.

The A&M signee is currently participating in the 2019 Under Armour All-American Game festivities down in Florida this week and was featured on ESPN showcasing his arm talent during the Skills Challenge segment. While not all of his passes were on the mark, Calzada really heated up at the end of his segment and showed why Fisher targetted in on the Georgia native to be his QB in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

Check out the video below of Calzada during his recent ESPN appearance, which was posted by Mike Lucas of Sports Reporter at KAGS News, the NBC affiliate out of Bryan, Texas.
