Apparently some rivalries never die, even at the next level. RB Alvin Kamara says his New Orleans Saints teammate, safety Marcus Maye – a former Florida standout – still owes him $1,000 for a bet for Week 4’s Tennessee-Florida matchup.

After transferring from Alabama and spending some time at the JUCO level, Kamara found a home at Tennessee, where he rushed for 1,294 yards and 16 touchdowns in just 2 years in Knoxville. Since being drafted by the Saints in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Kamara has continued to produce for the Saints, Kamara claimed NFL Rookie of the Year in 2017, and has been a Pro Bowler in all 5 of his NFL seasons, and is a two-time second-team All-Pro.

For his part, Kamara says he’s accepting all action on the LSU Tennessee matchup this Saturday.
