Tennessee athletic director Danny White believes his team will be in the College Football Playoff top 4 on Tuesday night.

Despite Tennessee’s loss to Georgia on Saturday, White believes that the Vols should be top 4 based on the ratings criteria used last week.

Tennessee’s 27-13 loss against Georgia was just its first loss of the season. The Vols have also picked up big wins over LSU and Alabama along with a few other major opponents.

Last week, Tennessee came in at No. 1 in the first CFP selection show of the season. Ohio State, Georgia and Clemson followed. A weekend full of top-10 teams falling helps Tennessee.

Clemson fell to unranked Notre Dame and will likely be out of the top 10 entirely. Alabama, who had a chance of creeping back into the CFP race, picked up its second loss of the season to LSU on Saturday.

TCU still remains undefeated and seems like the biggest competition for the fourth spot.
