Former Tennessee Volunteers football player Cordarrelle Patterson has distinguished himself as a utility athlete at the next level, making an impact in several ways for the Atlanta Falcons.
That much continued into Sunday as Patterson made NFL history, setting a record with a 103-yard kickoff return. With this, Patterson has the most kick return touchdowns in the history of the league (9). Here’s a look at that incredible play:

Patterson currently totals 76 rushing attempts for 402 yards with 5 touchdowns in 2022.
Patterson’s score pulled the Falcons within 17-14 with 4:18 left in the second quarter, and Atlanta tacked on a field goal to close halftime and make the game 17-17. In 2012, Patterson in 12 starts collected a school-record 1,858 all-purpose yards (154.8) to rank first in the SEC, and tied for 18th in the country.
