SEC play rolls on as teams move through the back half of the season and one interesting matchup to keep an eye on will be the one between the No. 21-ranked Tennessee Volunteers and the Kentucky Wildcats.

ESPN’s FPI projects the outcome of each college football game during the week, and in this particular one, has the Wildcats as a major underdog. According to the projection, Tennessee is favored with a 70.9% chance at a win.

There is no doubt that a Kentucky win here would be anything short of an upset, though. With some hype surrounding them and some of their previous success in the midst of what appeared to be a turnaround, they’ve fallen short of the expectations.

In the team’s most recent outing, the Wildcats fell 38-21 to the Missouri Tigers. They’re now on a 2-game losing streak  after falling to Georgia in the previous game.

Tennessee also looks to bounce back from a loss after the Vols were defeated by the No. 9-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, 34-20 over the weekend. The team was on a 3-game winning streak before that, though, with their most recent win a 20-13 victory over Texas A&M.

Tennessee and Kentucky are set to kick off at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky.
