Just over two weeks after deciding to leave Tennessee, Jalen Johnson has announced where he will continue his college basketball playing career.

The rising senior plays to finish out his collegiate playing career at ETSU he announced on Friday.

Johnson is a graduate transfer, which means he will be eligible immediately for ETSU next season.

Johnson averaged 3.5 points, 2 rebounds and 15.7 minutes per game for the Volunteers last season. During SEC play, Johnson averaged 4.2 points per game for the Vols.

The junior guard appeared in all 31 games for Tennessee last season and made two starts. He also serves on Tennessee’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee along with John Fulkerson.

The North Carolina native signed with Tennessee in the 2016 recruiting cycle. He redshirted his first season on Tennessee’s campus following his prep career at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina.
