Jarrett Guarantano sums up Jim Chaney's impact at Tennessee in one-word tweet
One of the biggest moves of the entire SEC offseason was Georgia OC Jim Chaney returning to Tennessee to serve as the Vols’ OC under Jeremy Pruitt.
Now, Chaney will be tasked with helping the Vols’ offense continue to rebuild, and he has a solid quarterback to work with in Jarrett Guarantano.
On Tuesday afternoon, “SEC This Morning” host Peter Burns tweeted a question asking what the biggest overlooked storyline in college football is for this season. As you can see below, one person asked about the impact Chaney will have in Knoxville:
Under the Radar: I'd love to hear a discussion about the impact of @JimChaneyUT leaving #UGA and returning to Knoxville. I think it's a huge addition for the #Vols and @BroadwayJay2, and I feel like #GoDawgs fans didn't fully appreciate Chaney in Athens. #GBO

Burns responded, saying Chaney really helped Jake Fromm during his time at Georgia and wondering how that would help Guarantano. Guarantano saw that tweet and chimed in, saying Chaney has already helped him a lot:

There are a lot of reasons for optimism in Knoxville this year, so we’ll see how Guarantano and Chaney fare in their first year together starting next month.
