Jeremy Pruitt brushes aside questions about Tennessee's search for new offensive coordinator
The Tennessee Volunteers still haven’t hired a new offensive coordinator to replace Tyson Helton, and there haven’t been many updates on the search recently, either.
So, naturally, during a press conference to discuss the start of early signing period on Wednesday, reporters were eager to try to get information on the search.
However, Pruitt wasn’t in the mood to talk about that, brushing aside the question and saying he’d rather focus on recruiting:
Pruitt on the OC search: "I'd rather talk about recruiting right now."

When another question was asked about the search later, Pruitt again brushed it aside, saying that’s a conversation for a later date:
#Vols coach Jeremy Pruitt again asked about OC stuff: “We’ll get to that later."

As other schools continue to seal moves involving assistants, the Vols have remained stagnant. We’ll see if there’s an update coming later this week.
