Tennessee fans seem to be growing more impatient with Jeremy Pruitt with each Saturday. That’s because the Vols have lost 5 games in a row in historic fashion.

However, a couple things Pruitt said during his postgame press conference also irked fans, too.

Pruitt was asked about his message to fans who question the direction of the Vols program.

“That ain’t my job, guys. My job is to coach,” Pruitt said bluntly. “If you want to ask me a football question, ask me a football question.”

The Tennessee head coach was then asked about his comfort level with offensive coordinator Jim Chaney.

“I don’t know, did you watch the game? We had more yards than they did,” Pruitt said. “So I don’t know if there was inconsistency or not there.”

Obviously, yards don’t equal points in college football, but Pruitt wasn’t too interested in discussing that aspect.

Tennessee fans took exception to those 2 comments and then took to social media to air their frustration with the head coach.
