Jonathan Echols is a 5-star athlete and one of the top players in the class of 2024, an elite athlete who plays wide receiver and defensive end.

On Independence Day, he decided to commit to a school, opting not to wait until after his junior year. And, he decided to commit to an SEC program.

As you can see below, he revealed on Twitter on Monday that he’d be playing for Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Volunteers beginning in the fall of 2024:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Echols is the No. 4 athlete in the class of 2024 and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Volunteers’ 2024 class got started with Echols’ commitment. We’ll see how Heupel and his staff build around the dynamic 5-star athlete moving forward.
