Update: Justin Worley likely out for remainder of game against Georgia, returns late in game
Editor’s Note: Justin Worley re-enters the game in the fourth quarter, despite an elbow injury. ESPN’s Tom Luginbill reported that Worley threw on the sidelines with no pain and told coaches he was ready to return. Peterman threw for 20 yards on 4-of-9 passing.
Tennessee starting quarterback Justin Worley will likely miss the remainder of his team’s game against No. 12 Georgia. Worley suffered an elbow injury in the third quarter and was replaced by backup Nathan Peterman with the Vols trailing 21-17.
Worley was shown grabbing his elbow on the sidelines and made attempts to throw. But the senior was last seen heading to the locker room and is likely to miss the remainder of the contest.
