If you haven’t been keeping up, Coach Gus Duggerton has Tennessee headed to the SEC Championship Game.

Of course, this is all just in the NCAA 14 Football video game as Duggerton is the creation of Dan Katz of Barstool Sports using the “create a coach” feature of the game.

While the sports world has been put on hold due to the coronavirus, Duggerton has received a ton of attention in the world of college football and even has Tennessee producing official apparel featuring the virtual coach.

Opposing SEC schools have been actively involved in keeping up with Duggerton’s first season at Tennessee, which included a word of advice from Lane Kiffin.

As fate would have it, Duggerton’s upcoming matchup in the SEC Championship Game is against Ole Miss. That’s led to the Rebels offering up a scouting report of Duggerton’s offense.

“After watching all of the film, Coach Duggs’ playbook isn’t as big as he makes it out to be in his graphics,” Ole Miss tweeted out on Friday with the following breakdown of Duggerton’s playsheet:

  1. Shark Wheel
  2. Four Verticals
  3. Cross
  4. Repeat 1-3

Kiffin kept the troll going by offering up a response to the Ole Miss tweet.

“Great job by our defensive staff breaking down the Coach Duggs offense,” the Ole Miss coach said.

Now both programs are gaining attention thanks to Coach Duggerton and his virtual journey through the SEC.

We’ll find out soon enough if Ole Miss backs up all the talk as Tennessee and Ole Miss are set to face off in the SEC Championship Game at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT.
