LISTEN: Steve Spurrier shares his thoughts on who Tennessee should hire
Steve Spurrier has something in common with the vast majority of Tennessee alums, they all think the Volunteers should be targeting USC offensive coordinator, and more importantly former Tennessee quarterback, Tee Martin.
During a Thursday appearance on ESPNU Radio, Spurrier said not only would Tee Martin be the right man for the job, he believes the hire would unite a fracted fan base.
“I think they oughta hire Tee Martin, that would unite the fan base, hey one of our own,” Spurrier said. “I really believe there’s a reason Wisconsin is so good this year and that’s because their head coach and both their coordinators went there.”

Tennessee needs to hire Tee Martin period. It makes sense. Great man, amazing recruiter and coach and relates to the young men. Make it happen Currie.

Last comment on the UT coaching search. @coachtee17 is owed a serious interview. Whomever involved who's stopping that you should be ashamed
