Butch Jones: Mack Crowder, others will be back for bowl game
The Tennessee Volunteers held their first bowl practice Saturday inside the Anderson Training Center. Head coach Butch Jones confirmed that several injured players will return for the team’s bowl game, including starting center Mack Crowder.

Crowder made his return to the practice field after suffering multiple injuries in Week 12 against Kentucky. The center participated in non-contact drills, along with kick return specialist Devrin Young and running back Jalen Hurd.

Young, who suffered broken ribs in Tennessee’s Week 7 win against Chattanooga, is also expected to return for the team’s bowl game.

Trevarris Saulsberry, who’s missed the past four games due to a knee injury, is also expected to return, according to WNML The Sports Animal’s Jimmy Hyams.
