Paul Finebaum believes Tennessee could beat Georgia on Saturday, but it will take a near-perfect game from the Vols.

The Bulldogs have been outstanding this season, proving their dominance with a big win over Ole Miss last week. If Tennessee wants a win over Georgia, Finebaum says the Bulldogs will have to have an uncharacteristic game.

“Let’s say they have a perfect game,” Finebaum said Friday. “Somehow Carson Beck becomes something that he hasn’t been all year and tosses the ball up, throws interceptions. I think it’s highly unlikely. It would have to be a fast start, a calamity of errors for Georgia and then Neyland Stadium just taking over and making the place unbearable for the Dawgs.”

Tennessee is looking for a bounce back game after losing to Missouri last week in crushing fashion. The Vols aren’t playing for much after the loss to Missouri knocked them out of SEC East title contention, but it would still be a big win.

Tennessee will take on Georgia at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
