Peyton Manning has been retired from the NFL for a couple of years now, and it seems retirement is something he really enjoys.

However, he apparently gets the hankering to watch film from time to time, and he was able to satisfy that need in Denver this week.

According to the Boston Globe, Manning joined the Boston Celtics for a film session on Monday ahead of their game against the Denver Nuggets:

“It’s great, man,” Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving said of Manning’s visit. “He’s a championship winner, unbelievable preparer of the game. He was doing it for so long, thinking about the injuries he had to endure. It was great to see him just come and talk to your team, being in Denver and just having an echelon of greatness coming and talking, there’s nothing like it.”

Manning and Boston coach Brad Stevens are friends from when Manning was with the Indianapolis Colts and Stevens was coaching the Butler Bulldogs. Stevens called Manning “one of the better film watchers I’ve ever been around,” per the report.

Where will Manning end up next? He could pop up anywhere, and that seems like a pretty cool life.
