Phillip Fulmer believes some of Tennessee’s draft hopefuls should have returned to school

Tennessee didn’t have a single player chosen during the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft but did have several players declare early for the draft. According to the program’s AD, some of those players may have been better served returning to school.

DB Rashaan Gaulden, RB John Kelly and DL Kahlil McKenzie all left school early for the Vols.

Here is what Fulmer had to say on the subject:

“I’m for everybody that wants to go out and be drafted and I’m pulling for all those kids. I think a couple of them probably should be here still but they chose that and life goes on. We’ll go on without them…”
