Grant Williams has done it again.

Tennessee’s All-American forward was just recognized as the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame’s Male Amateur Athlete of the Year. This is the second consecutive season Williams has won the award making him only the second Volunteer athlete to win the award more than once. The only other Vol that managed to pull off that accomplishment during his playing career in Knoxville was Eric Berry.

He averaged 18.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals per game for Tennessee last season.

Williams will be officially recognized by the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame during the organization’s 53rd Annual Induction Banquet on Saturday, June 15, at the Omni-Nashville Hotel.

The junior has decided to test the draft waters by declaring early for the 2019 NBA Draft but he has until June 10 to officially make his decision regarding whether he will return to school as a senior or move on to the NBA.
