After Rob Lanier left Rick Barnes’ Tennessee staff to become Georgia State’s head coach, the Vols had an open assistant position.

Now, it appears they’ve found a new guy, looking to the Colorado Buffaloes for their latest hire.

According to Evan Daniels of 247Sports, former Mizzou standout player Kim English will join the Tennessee coaching staff after spending the last two years at Colorado:

English played for the Missouri Tigers from 2008 to 2012, leading them to the 2012 Big 12 Tournament title.

He started his coaching career in 2015 as an assistant on former Mizzou coach Frank Haith’s staff at Tulsa. He then moved on to Colorado and now is seemingly on his way to Knoxville.
