While South Florida alumnus Larry Scott is an obvious candidate at his alma mater, a Tampa Bay Times reporter says that Tennessee’s tight ends and special teams coach has also shown interest in another Sunshine State job: Florida Atlantic.
I have been told @USFFootball alum Larry Scott interviewed for FAU job last night, but is interested in Bulls job. Played OT for Leavitt.

FAU dismissed coach Charlie Partridge after three seasons in which he went 9-27. The school is located in Boca Raton, Fla., not far from where Scott was a recent interim coach at Miami.
Scott, a native of Sebring, Fla., went 4-2 as the Hurricanes’ interim coach last season after Al Golden was fired. He has no other head coaching experience.
