Report: Saints sign former Tennessee receiver Josh Smith
There’s already 1 former Tennessee playmaker doing big things in New Orleans.
Could there be 2 in the not-so-distant future?
Perhaps, though it’ll be an uphill climb for Josh Smith to join Alvin Kamara’s company. Smith, who went undrafted after he dealt with ankle and shoulder injuries throughout much of his college career, did at least reportedly join the Saints offense on Thursday.
Multiple outlets reported that Smith agreed to a deal with the Saints:

Smith had 63 catches for 764 yards and five touchdowns over 45 games, but injuries cost him a chance at emerging for long stretches in the Vols’ offense.
The former Tennessee playmaker will try and add some depth behind Pro Bowl receiver Michael Thomas, Tedd Ginn Jr. and the recently-signed Cameron Meredith.
