As the coaching carousel continues to turn, assistants will likely feel the effects.

One such assistant could be Tennessee tight ends coach Larry Scott. After reports surfaced that Oregon would hire South Florida coach Willie Taggart, speculation began about who the Bulls might target to fill their vacancy.

Scott is a potential candidate for that job. The Tennessee assistant attended USF, where he was a three-year letterman at offensive tackle. Scott began his college coaching career at USF, and his performance as Miami’s interim coach last season could increase his candidacy.
