Tennessee drops Week 2 hype video ahead of home opener vs. Missouri
Under normal circumstances, Neyland Stadium would be filled to the brim, full of over 100,000 college football fans primarily clad in orange and white.
Of course, this year has brought about circumstances that are anything but normal. What is usually a capacity of over 100,000 will be trimmed to just over 25,000 for Tennessee’s home opener against Missouri, set for a noon ET kickoff on the SEC Network.
The No. 21 Volunteers are coming off a win at South Carolina, beating the Gamecocks 31-27 to start Year 3 of the Jeremy Pruitt era. Meanwhile, Mizzou opened play against No. 2 Alabama at Faurot Field, dropping a 38-19 decision in Eliah Drinkwitz’s debut.
In this week’s hype video, which dropped on Friday evening, the Volunteers made sure to send a message that despite the fact that the stands won’t be filled against the Tigers, the team will feel the support of its passionate fanbase behind it.
