Tennessee is still feeling the effects from the transfer commitment of Chris Brazzell, as it earned a pledge from brother Colin on Friday.

Colin is a wideout from the 2024 class and had offers from the Volunteers and Austin Peay. He hails from Midland (TX) Midland Legacy and comes in at 6-foot-2, 165 pounds.

Here’s what Brazzell had to say about the move:

“Thank you, Coach Kelsey Pope, Coach Josh Heupel, and Coach Tim Banks, for giving me an opportunity to further my education and football career,” said Brazzell. “With that being said, I will be committing to the University of Tennessee.”

The Volunteers have 2 signees coming into at wideout from the 2024 class. Tennessee has 5-star WR Mike Matthews and 4-star wideout Braylon Staley in Josh Heupel’s class along with the Tulane transfer.

It was a disappointing season in 2023 for Tennessee after what happened in 2022. After winning 11 games for the 1st time since 2001, Tennessee won 9 nine games this season. The team picked up its 9th win by beating Iowa in the Citrus Bowl.
