Tennessee picked up commitment No. 13 for its 2023 recruiting class on Friday. The Vols landed a verbal pledge from Tyree Weathersby, a Douglasville, Georgia defensive lineman Josh Heupel’s staff has been recruiting since January.

Weathersby shared the news on his Twitter account:

A standout at New Manchester, Weathersby is listed at 6-4, 251 pounds. Weathersby is rated 3-stars, the No. 50 Peach State recruit, No. 64 defensive lineman and No. 530 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.

Weathersby has picked up 21 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He recently narrowed his options down to Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi State and South Carolina.
