Tennessee has added to its 2019 recruiting class following the Tuesday commitment of Florida prospect Te’Cory Couch. The Vols now have four total commits lined up in a class that’s already listed among the best in the nation for the 2019 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot, 161-pound Couch is not currently ranked by 247Sports but he does have scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Michigan State, NC State, Louisville and FAU among others. He is listed as an athlete out of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Fla.

Couch announced his commitment to Butch Jones’ Tennessee program via Twitter with the following statement:

Couch can now add his name to a growing list of elite prospects committed to Tennessee’s 2019 class, which includes in-state athlete Cameron Wynn, defensive back Adonis Otey and receiver T.J. Sheffield.

The Florida prospect plays both sides of the ball at the prep level but projects as a defensive back for the Vols moving forward. Check out his sophomore season highlights, where he shows a tremendous ability to attack the ball no matter what side of the field he lines up on.
