Tennessee OL sidelined 4-6 weeks with knee injury
On Thursday, Tennessee head coach Butch Jones announced some less-than-ideal news for his Vols — as OL Chance Hall will be sidelined 4-6 weeks due to arthroscopic knee surgery.
Butch says Chance Hall will be out 4-6 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

A 6-foot-4, 318-pound sophomore out of Virginia, Hall started the last seven games of his true freshman season a year ago. The right tackle made the All-SEC freshman team, and was also recognized as a 2015 Sporting News Freshman All-American.
Hall had been battling Brett Kendrick for the starting right tackle job throughout camp. Kendrick — a 6-foot-6 318-pound redshirt junior — will now likely assume the position.
The loss of hall is potentially significant for the Volunteers. While UT should get through the non-conference unscathed, a week four matchup against rival Florida awaits — followed by back-to-back contests on the road against Georgia and Texas A&M.
Hall’s potential return for the clash against the Gators would be immense, especially considering the talent Florida possesses up front along its defensive line.
