Throughout the storied history of the Tennessee football, the wide receiver position has produced many of the program’s greatest stars. Thanks to this rich tradition, the school has earned a reputation as “WRU” in many circles.

Tennessee has had several wideouts, spanning several decades, earn First Team All-American honors, such as Robert Meachem, Carl Pickens, Tim McGee, Willie Gault, Larry Seivers and Richmond Flowers, and fellow career reception leaders Joey Kent, Marcus Nash, Cedrick Wilson, Peerless Price and Jayson Swain all went on to success at the NFL level.

Having just sent Tennessee native Josh Malone to the Bengals via the 2017 NFL Draft, the Vols, judging by the video, are looking to junior receiver Jauan Jennings to take up the mantle as the team’s alpha receiver this season.
