Tennessee senior wide receiver Jauan Jennings has apparently left a lasting impression on not only coach Jeremy Pruitt, but also his wife, Casey.

When Jeremy spoke to 104.5 The Zone, he revealed that Casey is “pushing” to name their daughter, due in January, after the wideout.

“Me and my wife are looking to come up with a name for our daughter that’s going to be here in January and she keeps pushing me to name her Jennings,” Jeremy told the station in the clip below.

The family has three sons: Jayse, Ridge and Flynt. We shall see if Casey gets her wish and Jennings Pruitt joins Big Orange Nation.

Jauan Jennings, a Murfreesboro native, is looking to lead UT to victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday and snap a three-game losing streak to the in-state rivals. He leads Vols pass-catchers in receptions (55), receiving yards (896) and touchdowns (8) in the 2019 season. With an average of 80.5 receiving yards per game, Jauan should be able to hit the 1,000-yard milestone against either Vandy or in UT’s bowl game.
