Former Tennessee and current Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has cemented himself as one of the best defensive backs in the entire NFL.

His instincts are superlative for the position — as is his ability diagnose plays and react accordingly.

Kansas City had a big test on Sunday — as it played the Atlanta Falcons on the road.

Returning to his hometown of Atlanta, Berry absolutely shined. He had a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown. After the score, Berry found his mom in the stands and gave her the football:

Later in the game, Berry picked off a Matt Ryan two-point conversion attempt — and returned it 99 yards for a score. It gave the Chiefs a one-point lead, and ultimately became the game-winning play.

Kudos to Berry for having such a stellar performance in front of his family and friends.
