When you lose to South Carolina, a team that had the second-worst offense in the FBS entering Saturday night, it’s fair to have your job security questioned.

That’s what happened to Tennessee coach Butch Jones on Sunday morning on ESPNU. Analyst Paul Finebaum and company discussed Jones’s job and whether or not he is on the hot seat in the above video.

“He’s a cratering stock,” Finebaum said. “The fans are not chewing their fingernails; they’re biting their fingers off because they cannot believe what’s happened to this football program.”

The Volunteers have a chance to right the ship on Saturday when they host Tennessee Tech in their last non-conference matchup of the season. At 5-3, Tennessee needs a win to save Jones’s job.
