Photo: Vols give gift to family of slain HS football player
Remember the story of the 15-year-old Fulton High School football player that died protecting friends from a gunman that enter his neighborhood earlier this month?
Well, we’re happy to report some smiles on the faces of his family after what has surely been a catastrophic amount of pain during the last few weeks.
According to WBIR, Zaevion Dobson’s family received a personalized Tennessee football jersey that included the No. 24 that Dobson wore at Fulton, as well as signatures from what appears to be the entire Vols football team.

WBIR reported that more than 2,000 people gathered for Dobson’s funeral on Saturday.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones and his Vols team did well here. Classy move.
