Three different Tennessee Volunteers were announced as UDFAs after not being made as selections in the 2023 NFL Draft. The trio was announced on Saturday.

Two out of the three Tennessee players played on the offensive side of the ball. Here are all three of the Vols who are joining the NFL as UDFAs:

  • LB Jeremy Banks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • OL Jerome Carvin, Kansas City Chiefs
  • TE Princeton Fant, Dallas Cowboys

Banks began his Tennessee career at RB for the Big Orange. Banks made the switch to LB for the 2020 season. Banks had 53 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1 forced fumble in 2022.

Carvin was a mainstay on the Volunteers offensive line, appearing in 60 games from 2018-2022. He’ll be joining his old teammate Trey Smith on the Chiefs.

Fant brought in 22 receptions for 241 yards receiving, which led all Volunteer tight ends. His 241 yards receiving was also a career high mark for him. Fant made appearances in every game for Tennessee this past season.
