Former Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst has found a new college football gig. Chryst is reportedly joining Steve Sarkisian’s Texas staff.

Chryst will be an offensive analyst for the Longhorns, according to Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods.

Chryst, 57, was fired as Wisconsin’s head coach on Oct. 2 after a 2-3 start to the 2022 season. He posted a 67-26 record in 7+ seasons as the Badgers head coach.

Chryst has been in coaching since 1989. From 1991-to-2011, he was an offensive assistant for various college and professional teams. Chryst has been an offensive coordinator at Wisconsin, Oregon State, Illinois State, Wisconsin-Platteville and the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders.

It will be interesting to see how long Chryst is an analyst before getting another on-field coaching position.
