Amir Abdur-Rahman has found his new home. After 4 seasons at Vanderbilt, the departing wide receiver is headed to Ball State. Abdur-Rahman shared the news on his Twitter account Friday.

An Atlanta native and Mays product, Abdur-Rahman made 36 appearances for the Commodores, starting 11 games. In 4 seasons, Abdur-Rahman totaled 44 catches for 632 yards and 3 touchdowns. Abdur-Rahman’s most productive season was in 2019, when he played in 9 games (8 starts), recording 27 receptions for 406 yards and a touchdown.

Abdur-Rahman can play up to 2 more college seasons. He only played in 2 games in 2019, which allows him to take a redshirt. The NCAA does not count the 2020 season against players’ 4 full season of eligibility due to COVID-19.
