Entering Saturday, Vanderbilt freshman Keyon Brooks had never scored a touchdown for the Commodores.

It didn’t take him long to end that streak as the young Vanderbilt back just scored the first points of Saturday’s game against Northern Illinois.

Just before this play, Vanderbilt’s star running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn ripped off a huge touchdown run but it was called back for holding. That could have been deflating for the Commodores but Brooks came in and did the exact same thing on the next play.
