The Vanderbilt Commodores lost Game 1 of their super-regional matchup with Duke on Friday night, meaning they were one loss away from seeing their outstanding season come to an end before reaching the College World Series.

The Commodores lead 4-0 heading into the second inning. We’ll see if that’s enough for Vandy to hold on and advance to Omaha, or if the bats will have more work to do.
