Former Florida DL Malik Langham has a new college football home.

Per a report by CBS Sports, Langham has transferred to Vanderbilt. Langham entered the NCAA transfer portal two months ago, and he’s decided upon his next destination.

Interestingly, it’s in the same division as the Gators.

Langham’s departure certainly hurts Florida’s DL depth, and Vanderbilt is the beneficiary of the transfer. The Huntsville, Alabama, native signed with Florida over both Alabama and Auburn during the 2018 recruiting cycle. He redshirted during his first year at Florida and played in two games.

Exiting high school, Langham was rated a 4-star prospect and was a top 350 recruit.

Although it’s uncertain, Langham will likely have to sit out the 2019 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
