Vanderbilt has released a video celebrating its upgrades — and showing renderings — to Hawkins Field as the Commodores continue to promote one of their top programs.

Among the upgrades in the second grandstand level are multiple innovative club spaces, multiple private suites, 360-degree stadium experience, a Hawkins Field entry atrium and a multi-purpose building, which is expected to be a 20,000-square-foot building beyond right field and offer space for enhancing both the fan and player experience. There will also be left-field wall and behind-the-plate seating.

Vanderbilt has consistently been one of the top baseball programs around after it won national championships in 2014 and 2019, and has an 882-418-1 record under coach Tim Corbin. This past weekend, the VandyBoys won their 4th SEC Tournament championship, including their 3rd under Corbin.

“At Vanderbilt, we bring together the best and brightest to make each other better,” Candice Storey Lee said. “Coach Tim Corbin has done that for 20 years, mentoring Major Leaguers, innovators and community leaders. By setting an unmatched standard of excellence, the VandyBoys dare us to grow with them.”
