The Vanderbilt Commodores haven’t been very good this season. They sport an 0-5 overall record and don’t appear to be on their way to a 1-5 record on Saturday at Kentucky.

After trailing 24-14 at halftime against the Wildcats, things only got worse in the third quarter. Eventually, Kentucky picked up a 38-35 home win over the Commodores after Vanderbilt scored a late touchdown.

Freshman QB Ken Seals showed flashes of promise, but the Commodores committed too many penalties and made too many silly mistakes to compete against the Wildcats.

Because of that, many fans voiced their frustrations with coach Derek Mason during and after the game:

Mason is now 27-53 overall at Vanderbilt as he makes his way through his seventh season at the helm of the program.

It’s unlikely that Vandy would make a change before the end of the season, but we’ll see what happens in Nashville moving forward.
