A former 3-star recruit, Cochran arrived at Vanderbilt in 2016 out of Greater Atlanta Christian School. His 247sports recruiting profile shows he also had offers from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.
This past season, as a redshirt junior, Cochran started nine games at left tackle after missing VU’s first three games due to injury.
