Last week, in a 45-31 win at Arkansas, Vanderbilt RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn had a huge performance, running for 172 yards and three touchdowns.

This week, Vandy coach Derek Mason sat down with SEC Network’s Matt Stinchcomb and broke down the film from Saturday’s big win.

As you can see in the video below, Mason had some high praise for Vaughn, comparing him to Dallas Cowboys star RB Ezekiel Elliott:

“He really reminds me of Ezekiel (Elliott), just because of his lowers,” Mason said. “He has great lower body strength and the ability to step out of arm tackles.”

That’s high praise for Vaughn, who will need to have more huge efforts if the Commodores are going to pick up more SEC wins down the stretch.
