Vanderbilt RB Ralph Webb always runs a little harder against the Florida Gators, as the Gainesville native wasn’t recruited by his hometown team.

That was certainly the case in The Swamp on Saturday afternoon, and this time, the victim was Florida CB Chauncey Gardner.

As you can see in the video below, Webb absolutely trucks Gardner on a run in the third quarter, sending the young defender bouncing backward:

To Gardner’s credit, he stuck with the play and helped make the tackle after getting run over, but he won’t be too eager to go head-to-head with Webb in the future.

Webb’s slow start to the season has continued, though, as he only has 31 yards on nine carries through three quarters against the Gators.
