Virginia Tech is holding its “Orange Effect” game for the Thursday conference clash with Boston College. It’s only appropriate that the Hokies sport orange uniforms.
The team revealed its new threads on Wednesday via social media. Brent Pry’s squad will sport orange jerseys and orange pants for the game, with white helmets.

The new orange jerseys have some key differences from what the Hokies sported in 2021 against North Carolina.

This year’s orange jerseys are solidly orange, dropping the white stripes from the shoulder and maroon from the collard. The 2024 orange jerseys feature the HokieBird on the collar and say Virginia Tech across the chest. Like 2021, the primary jersey number is white. Maroon numbers are used on the shoulders.

Virginia Tech is looking to get back above .500. The Hokies improved to 3-3 with a Week 6 win on the road at Stanford.
Thursday’s game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
