Alabama rising junior linebacker Ryan Anderson was arrested Tuesday on third-degree domestic violence charges in Tuscaloosa according to a report by AL.com.

His name was found in the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s arrest database after being charged with misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence, criminal mischief.

Anderson made 25 tackles — eight behind the line of scrimmage — in limited action last season and was expected to see his role increased on Kirby Smart’s defense this spring.

Anderson is former five-star prospect in the Class of 2012 and was ranked the nation’s top outside linebacker coming out of high school in Daphne, Ala., by 247Sports.
